To realise our ambitions in the IKEA Supply Strategy, we've identified the need to enhance and modernise our way of working. We're setting a new foundational digital core in place, covering total IKEA and lasting many years. The Order & Finance Platform (OFP) Programme has been initiated, recognised as one of the key movements within the common IKEA Digital Roadmap. OFP is also one of the largest digital investments in IKEA Supply over the next few years, creating benefits and impacts across the entire IKEA value chain.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a green field SAP S/4 HANA implementation programme and introduce an Enterprise Resource Planning solution to our business for the first time.
As the SAP S4 Cross functional & master data Solution Architect, you'll lead technical aspects of cross-functional master data management, architecture, and governance during the OFP programme implementation and maintenance. You'll cover SAP S4 systems (S4HANA, MDG, etc.) and solutions (on-premise and on-cloud) and their integration with surrounding applications. This will be a team effort, working closely with Business Analysts, External Consultants, Developers, Security & Data privacy team, and Data specialists to ensure SAP S/4 design, delivery, and maintenance adhere to standards while maintaining high automation and specialisation in our global value chain.
In this role:
* You'll be responsible for quality deliverables related to master data management framework within SAP S4 & MDG, including mapping of data sources, data movement, and interfaces to ensure data quality and optimal solutions across the SAP landscape and domains.
* You'll collaborate with Product/Process Owners and Lead solution architects to evaluate and align any design changes from application maintenance perspective.
* You'll envision data pipelines and how data will flow through the enterprise.
* You'll serve as a front-line person for respective business process owners and super users, ensuring seamless platform experience in the live environment across the complete value chain, independent of the underlying application landscape, including:
o You'll develop data model and metadata policies and procedures for functional and technical design.
o You'll ensure data governance and best practices are followed and properly implemented. Support analysis of productive issues (Incident & problem management) and implement resolutions working alongside the totality of DevSecOps team including both internal and external teams.
o You'll guide the project team in data load, migration approach, and data impact analysis.
o You'll architect data transformation from legacy systems into S4/HANA landscape and SAP MDG.
o You'll blueprint process flows and data models from surrounding / legacy to SAP S/4 HANA and MDG.
* You'll work alongside cross-functional scrum teams guiding configuration in SAP S/4 Hana primarily in logistics and procurement domains & SAP MDG.
* You'll perform data gap analysis according to business requirements and provide recommendations of suitable system solutions.
* You'll support Proof of Concepts (POC) for functional solutions providing expertise with respect to data-related architecture and management.
* You'll demonstrate cross-functional alignments, explaining how end-to-end processes fit together.
* You'll configure, test, and deploy MDM solutions to meet business requirements.
* You'll provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for MDM systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
* You'll proactively communicate status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items.
* You'll have knowledge of Syniti (SAP ADMM) and migration activities to support data mapping and migration.
* You'll mitigate risks associated with a transformational transition architecture, ensuring running business operations.
This role reports to the SAP Platform Area Manager in IKEA Supply and works closely with the programme management for the Order and Finance Program.

Qualification
You're passionate about creating value through robust and effective SAP solution architecture and enjoy developing IKEA as a business by building relationships and networks.
To be successful in this role, we believe you're a strong team player with deep techno-functional expertise, able to inspire and mobilise people towards clearly set objectives. We're looking for a visionary, pragmatic, and adaptable person who isn't above rolling up their sleeves, showcasing their techno-functional knowledge, leading by example. You're curious and able to build relationships based on trust between the Supply Data & Technology community and its stakeholders.
We expect you to have at least 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects under your belt, where you've contributed hands-on as a solution architect, business analyst or functional consultant. You must have hands-on configuration experience in SAP S/4 Hana and/or ECC, primarily in modules such as SD, MM, LE, TM etc. You've worked in similar supply chain or retail industries, with working knowledge of SAP data dictionary, data mapping, and ETL. You have strong data analytic skills and knowledge of data management methodologies. You're analytical and have a particular eye for details, still being able to relate to the bigger context, building a quick and effective work rapport with distributed team members.
You're highly motivated and effective in communicating, able to present even complex technology challenges in an understandable fashion to stakeholders, getting commitment all around.
