Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
As a Sr. Specialist Environmental Compliance, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products and operations comply with European environmental regulations and industry standards. This is an individual contributor role requiring deep regulatory expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Stay abreast of evolving EU environmental compliance or trends
2. Lead environmental compliance projects in collaboration with domestic and corporate partners
3. Coordinate and prepare environmental compliance documentation for tender support, market access, audits, or reporting
4. Ensure due reporting to European recycling schemes.
5. Conduct audit to assess environmental compliance across day to day operations
6. Educate and train staff on environmental regulations and company practices

7. Other projects may be assigned as necessary
8. Travel: up to 20%
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
9. At least 5+ years’ experience in environmental compliance
10. A Bachelor degree, Engineering or Master’s degree in environmental science, mechanical or electrical engineering, life sciences or similar (or equivalent work experience in similar function)
11. Strong understanding of global environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
12. Ability to work autonomously and exercise daily judgment based on above regulatory knowledge.
13. Demonstrated organizational and planning skills, including action oriented and can-do attitude, focused urgency and driving for results
14. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, ability to distill complexity and provide clear and actionable direction
15. Orientation for work result details, with emphasis on accuracy and completeness
16. Computer literacy (PC, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Outlook)
17. Language: Fluent English
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
