Don’t miss the opportunity to join us and work with different teams in an agile and diverse context.A Day in the Life of a Swiss Tax ManagerEnsuring timely and accurate compliance with all Swiss tax laws, including reviewing selected returns for accuracy and completeness, particularly those with a low to middle complexity tax profile, and preparing and filing claims as necessary.Serving as a reliable and strong Swiss tax expert for the business, acting as the primary point of contact for multiple stakeholders to:Address Swiss tax issues (direct and indirect tax, excluding VAT) and propose pragmatic, compliant tax solutions in accordance with Swiss tax law.Identify, propose, and implement tax-efficient strategies in response to business needs, in alignment with the Group's strategy.Implement and coordinate group reorganizations, including project management responsibilities.Providing tax assistance during year-end and quarterly closing processes, including the review of Swiss income tax provisions, deferred taxes, and tax risks in collaboration with the finance department.Monitoring the issuance of Swiss tax certificates for foreign jurisdictions and assessing the Swiss foreign tax credit refunds.Supporting the Group's tax strategy by implementing actions to comply with Swiss direct tax regulations, OECD minimum tax, and other tax requirements, both in Switzerland and internationally.Periodically reviewing our Swiss tax positions for continued appropriateness and serving as a resource on Swiss tax matters for the global tax group.Representing Nestlé Group in interactions with external stakeholders, including Swiss tax authorities and external associations.What will make you successfulExtensive experience in Swiss tax matters, encompassing all technical areas including direct tax, indirect tax, stamp duties, and withholding taxes within a Big4 firm and/or Swiss tax authorities. A certification (or progress towards certification) as a Swiss certified tax expert or equivalent is highly preferred.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various internal functions to ensure the successful implementation of defined tax strategies and solutions.Ability to work autonomously with strong agility to manage various priorities within tight deadlines.Proven track record of mastering new tax laws and tax-relevant accounting principles, and their application to IFRS and SGF financial statements.Well-developed analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills, with the ability to translate complex tax issues into accessible language for a broad audience, both written and verbal.Fluent in French and English.
