We are seeking a skilled and motivated Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our client's team in Stein.
Summary:
The Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer will report directly to the Automation Technical Lead and is responsible for providing hands-on support to the commissioning and qualification of the Utility and HVAC Systems installed at the site in Stein.
The I&C Engineer will provide hands-on support and management for the Hot Loop Testing Team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide I&C field support for the commissioning and qualification of the following utility and process systems which are monitored and controlled by the DeltaV DCS:
o Black and Clean Utility generation, storage and distribution systems;
o Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning for the classified and non-classified areas within the site manufacturing and utility areas.
o Environmental Monitoring System.
o Compounding and SIP/CIP system.
* Review and support execution of the Hot Loop Test protocols including the following test steps:
o Wago remote IO interface and communication testing;
o Emerson CIOC remote IO panels;
o Field instrumentation;
o Interface testing between package units;
o Alarm and Interlock Testing;
o Emergency Stop Verification (hardwired circuits).
* Support the commissioning of the Modbus networks to the following equipment items:
o Variable Speed Drives;
o Wago Remote IO Controllers;
o Package Units.
* Provide backup support to the Hot Loop Testing Supervisor for day-to-day management and support of the Hot Loop Testing contractor.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering (Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Process Control, or related field);
* 5 - 10 years of industrial commissioning experience with Electrical and Instrument systems, with 3 years Utility system commissioning experience;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of the I&C Commissioning team;
* Experience using Kneat for CQV test execution;
* Fluent English language written and verbal communication skills;
* cGMP knowledge and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
