Our e-commerce team is looking for a results-driven Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager for multiple brands of a multinational leading the optical industry in Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have a sharp understanding of data analysis and a passion for customer experience to improve our online performance through increased conversion rates and enhanced online user experience.
Role & Responsibilities :
1. Strategy Development: Develop CRO strategies to optimize user experience and maximize conversion rates across all our digital channels, including websites, landing pages, and mobile applications.
2. Data Analysis: Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Content Square etc.) to monitor and analyze website performance, user behavior, and conversion data. Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
3. A/B Testing: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to assess the effectiveness of distinctive design, content, incentive, and user flows. Share findings and recommendations based on test results.
4. Heatmaps and User Recordings: Use tools like Hotjar, Clarity or Content Square to gain insights into user behavior, clicks, and scroll patterns. Translate these insights into actionable recommendations.
5. Content strategy Enhancement: Work closely with the brand teams to strengthen and optimize the content strategy so the website content is engaging, relevant, and optimized at every step of the customer journey.
6. Customer Feedback: Implement, collect, and analyze customer feedback through various solutions (surveys, usability tests, and other solutions) to understand user needs and pain points.
7. User Experience (UX) Optimization: Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and content teams to enhance user journeys, reduce friction points, and improve overall user satisfaction.
8. Performance Tracking: Define KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and create dashboards to track and report on the performance of CRO initiatives. Share results and insights with stakeholders.
9. Team training and Development: Share CRO best practices and methodologies to the wider team to increase understanding and overall knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills :
10. Education : Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in CRO, UX/UI, or digital marketing are a plus.
11. Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CRO, online marketing, or a related role with a proven record of accomplishment for driving successful optimization initiatives.
12. Languages : English and French mandatory. German and Italian would be a major asset.
13. Technical Skills: Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Content Square), A/B testing platforms (e.g., AB Tasty, Kameleoon, Optimizely, VWO) and heatmapping tools (e.g., Hotjar, Clarity, Crazy Egg).
14. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
15. UX/UI Knowledge: Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices to enhance user experiences and drive conversions.
16. Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development principles.
17. Creative Mindset: Innovative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and staying ahead of digital marketing trends.
18. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
