The SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain Lead role combines leadership of the global supply chain workstream for the SAP S/4 HANA (MIKADO) migration with responsibility for business processes within Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM). As a key interface between Supply Chain, Data & Tech, and other functional areas, the successful candidate will drive collaboration, process harmonization, and digital innovation. This position also actively supports global supply chain excellence and digitalization initiative projects aligned with the End-to-End (E2E) Supply Chain strategy.
Key Responsibilities
SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain Workstream Leadership
* Lead the global Supply Chain workstream in the SAP S/4HANA migration project, ensuring successful delivery of objectives
* Manage end-to-end integration of Supply Chain processes with SD/MM modules and cross-functional alignment
* Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain teams, IT stakeholders, and other global operations
* Oversee training programs and process documentation to support stakeholders and ensure technology adoption
* Coordinate engagements with Finance, Procurement, Data & Tech, and other cross-functional teams
* Drive process optimization and harmonization within Supply Chain to leverage SAP.
Project Management
* Lead global Supply Chain projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and change management
* Apply project management methodologies and change leadership principles to drive smooth transitions
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and commitment to strategic goals.
Process Analysis and Optimization
* Analyze supply chain processes to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
* Translate global business requirements into SAP technical specifications.
* Coordinate post-transformation process ownership, driving continuous improvement and technology adoption.
* Align SAP S/4HANA transformation with other digitization initiatives to enhance efficiency and agility.
Data Management and System Integration
* Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SAP with other systems for data consistency.
* Manage global SAP supply chain data, ensuring integrity and implementing best practices.
* Oversee iDOCs and WMS interface development, creating test cases for seamless integration with 3PL systems.
Training, Documentation, and Support (Supply Chain Academy)
* Develop and maintain comprehensive global SAP documentation, configurations, and user guides as foundational materials for the Supply Chain Academy
* Design and deliver ongoing training programs through the Supply Chain Academy, ensuring end-users achieve proficiency with SAP and supply chain tools
* Offer timely technical support to resolve SAP-related issues and ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Computer Science; PMP or SAP certifications preferred.
* Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA migration/implementation and managing large-scale transformation projects.
* 10-12 years of SAP functional expertise, including SD/MM/PP configuration and troubleshooting.
* Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes, SAP SD, MM, EDI, and process optimization.
* Skilled in project management (Prince2, PMI, Agile) and change management.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Familiarity with digital technologies and process design.
