Alloy Engineering seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth through business development and client management. This role focuses on building relationships, providing technical expertise in high-performance alloys, and expanding market presence globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales & Business Development: Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence within the nitric acid industry and assigned geography.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant engineers, project managers, and procurement specialists.
* Technical Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of alloy materials, corrosion resistance, and industry-specific challenges to provide technical solutions that address client needs.
* Solution Selling: Guide clients through Alloy Engineering's product offerings, demonstrating the benefits of our solutions for their applications.
* Market Analysis: Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product development, and production teams to align customer needs with Alloy Engineering's capabilities and production schedules.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Material Science, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the chemical, nitric acid, or metals/alloys industries.
* Proven success in a sales role, with experience in solution-based and consultative sales.
* Strong understanding of the nitric acid industry and the applications of high-performance alloys.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to travel within North America and Globally when required.
