WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a person with extensive experience who can be our strategic partner for management and stakeholders, bringing a holistic understanding of our key data and insights mainly linked to commercial topics with an extra focus on consumers in relation to IKEA.
To make this happen, you should bring with you:
1. Strong analytical skills including modern data and analytics methods and technology, with the ability to develop commercially viable insights from multiple data sources.
2. Broad knowledge of micro and macro drivers for the retail market.
3. Deep understanding of how to develop, define, plan and execute a roadmap to meet business requirements together with relevant stakeholders.
4. Passion to understand the behaviors of the many people, the local Life at Home and current Home Furnishing trends.
5. Broad knowledge of setting directions, creation of strategic and operational goals and plans.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate co-workers and colleagues.
7. Passion about understanding the customer experience journey as well as how to influence it.
Previous experience and proven skills:
1. Master’s degree qualifications in business, computer science, econometrics, mathematics or equivalent.
2. A very thorough progressive and diverse experience in consumer insights & Analytics and Data Management.
3. Experience from managing change in a complex business environment, including leading large organizations.
4. Preferred: Experience in retail and/or eCommerce and/or digital.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As our new Country Consumer Insights Manager, you will drive sharp and well-informed decisions, rooted in an ever-evolving understanding of data, insights, consumers, the market and business performance.
You will:
1. Be a strong contributor as a member of the Commercial Management Team, proactively contributing to IKEA’s business strategy, business plan and commercial plan.
2. Be accountable for the delivery of tactical and strategic day-to-day insights and omnichannel sales steering solutions to relevant stakeholders including the country management team.
3. Contribute to an effective development and implementation of strategies, by working cross-functionally with stakeholders.
4. Drive and engage several stakeholders together towards one common insights and data vision.
