Student Assistant for Communication and Marketing Activities
The Center of Sustainable Future Mobility (CSFM) aims to promote research that fosters the realization of a sustainable transportation system from an environmental, social, and economic perspective. The center serves as the entry point for external partners as well as a coordination unit for interdisciplinary research and partnerships around the challenges of future mobility.
Project Background
One of the main pillars of the center's operations consists of community building and outreach. To achieve this, communication materials need to be tailored for different audiences, channels, and occasions. We are looking for a proactive and engaged team member to support the managing director in developing and enhancing our current palette of marketing and communication activities.
* Support the management office with online, social media, and marketing activities.
* Assist with print materials (reports, presentations, brochures).
* Help improve and maintain the webpage.
* Maintain the contact database and conduct desktop research as needed.
* Depending on experience and proactivity, responsibilities can be expanded to include greater autonomy and broader tasks.
Profile
* The applicant is expected to be enrolled at a Swiss university (e.g., ETH, UZH, ZHAW, ZHdK).
* Experience in website administration and social media activities, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other people in a team.
* Good knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), desktop publishing software applications such as Adobe InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, and LaTeX.
* Fluent in English and German, with experience in editing texts.
* A flair for effective written communication and marketing, with strong skills in graphic design.
