Job Summary
Our team is part of the Audi F1 Project, competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The project has two locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany, and Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil, Switzerland. We are looking for a skilled professional to join our strong PLM-focused design team.
About the Position
We are seeking a highly qualified individual to support our designers in resolving CATIA-3DExperience issues, enhancing methodologies, and participating in the development of our CATIA-3DExperience Platform. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Computer Science, or a comparable technical education.
Responsibilities
* Support designers in resolving CATIA-3DExperience issues and enhancing methodologies
* Play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of our CATIA-3DExperience Platform
* Enhance CAD/PLM methodologies for design processes
* Install and configure CATIA Workstations
Requirements
* Candidate should have a completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Computer Science, or a comparable technical education
* PRACTICAL experience in using, supporting, and administering modern CAD and PLM systems
* In-depth knowledge of CATIA-3DExperience and/or CATIA-V5 is highly advantageous
* Strong understanding of Design Methods using CAD and PLM
* Additional experience with CAM and CAE applications is beneficial
* Programming skills in Visual Basic, macros, scripting, etc.
* Communicative, self-initiative, proactive, and solution-oriented as a team player
* Full professional proficiency in both German and English is mandatory
