Job Description
Main Responsibilities
1. AP Process Management: Register and manage direct and indirect charges (FI/MM), prepare payment proposals, and review reports for quality and accuracy.
2. Payment Proposal Preparation: Prepare timely and accurate payment proposals.
3. Reporting: Generate reports with high-quality data in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Exception Handling: Review and learn about potential exceptions based on the specific process.
5. Outstanding Item Follow-up: Analyze and follow up on outstanding items to avoid overdue payments, communicating issues effectively to stakeholders.
6. Vendor Communication: Investigate and initiate queries with vendors in a timely manner if necessary.
7. Escalation: Communicate escalations to the AP Senior and Supervisor.
8. Travel Expense Processing: Process and review travel expense reports according to Lonza's travel policy.
9. Relationship Building: Develop effective working relationships with internal departments and vendors, understanding urgency and impact on both parties.
10. Stakeholder Interaction: Interact with auditors, accountants, and management as needed to provide information about the department and specific AP requests.
