Position: Business System Analyst
Location: Iselin, NJ
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze current and future state system requirements and processes to ensure all application features are appropriately delineated.
2. Gather and/or define business requirements through interviews, workshops, and meetings with subject matter experts (SME).
3. Design project plans, project estimation, budget, and resources using MS Project.
4. Collaborate with business owners and technical leads to design new computerized systems processes that are user-friendly, agency compliant, and facilitate timely reporting on case management outcomes.
5. Provide expertise and appropriate design options and methodologies for new software applications.
6. Create and distribute relevant design documentation for programming staff.
7. Design test cases, utilizing Agile and Scrum methodology, sprint planning, UML, and VISIO.
8. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with team members to identify and resolve issues faced by users.
9. Create test plans, test cases, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
10. Conduct training and support for new users as needed.
11. Anchor daily stand-up meetings with the team regarding the status of SDLC activities.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
2. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position with similar job duties.
3. One (1) year of experience required in MS Project, UML, VISIO, Agile, and Scrum, where all such experience can be acquired concurrently.
4. Travel required to unanticipated client locations all over the United States.
Given the nature of its business operations in the field of Information Technology Consulting and software development, Iflowsoft requires its employees who are implementing projects to travel to client sites. These sites will be in the New Jersey Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and other unanticipated locations within the United States for the time period determined by the project timelines.
Annual Salary: $152,859.00
