Associate Specialist Transactional System (Procure to Pay)
(m/f/d)
Freelance/temporary employment for a project in Geneva. Start date: asap. Reference number: 770492/1
Responsibilities
1. Drive continuous improvements in the transactional systems and tools to achieve simplification, greater efficiency, effectiveness, compliance, and to generate data for analytics to implement objectives.
2. Act as an expert on the current system processes for all internal and external stakeholders.
3. Implement operational activities to ensure the transaction systems and tools run as expected at the defined service level, including onboarding of Procurement Service Agents (PSA)/partners and staff, Level 1 support, and training. Level 2 support is managed for all users, as well as the functional expansion of the platform, fulfilling business needs and meeting corporate priorities.
4. Monitor different transactions to flag either system or user errors.
5. Support the Lead, Tools and Operations to define the business requirements with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvements in the transactional systems and tools.
6. Oversee system upgrades and the testing required to check the success of those upgrades.
7. Provide inputs and support IT reviews of IT-related supplier performance monitoring and performance review.
8. Support capturing good practices through knowledge management mechanisms.
9. Cultivate a growth mindset and explore industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement and enhance overall performance and organizational results.
10. Identify opportunities and needs for support from other internal functions or with external partners.
Profile
1. Degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
2. Working experience in a technology delivery environment and/or continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Working knowledge and understanding of project management principles and application in a complex environment.
4. Working experience in procurement processes.
5. Experience of finance controls and grant management.
6. Relevant work experience including project management (desirable).
7. Procurement field experience for a development organization (desirable).
8. Project Management certification (desirable).
