Job Description: About the Role
As a Solutions Financial Analyst, you will become part of a talented team and play a key role in supporting deepening business insights (Actual, Plan and Projection), lifting data analysis to the next level and supporting the introduction of the new finance data asset and dashboarding capabilities.
You will:
Use your strong analytical, data processing, and communication skills to provide opinions and value-added input while helping to ensure data is comprehensive, complete, and well understood.
Analyze financial results, putting them in context to support the business in managing performance.
Get involved in the financial plan and support its development using the new model-based planning tool.
Participate in the set-up of the Solutions division end-to-end view and controls framework for the Finance function.
Improve the standard of quarterly financial reporting in a lean and efficient way, allowing for proactive business steering.
Use cutting-edge modelling technology to deepen data analysis, dashboarding, and reporting.
The role requires a high level of interaction and coordination of activities with teams in multiple countries and functions including Finance, Legal, Product, and Sales.
About the Team
Our team, Re Solutions Finance, is responsible for financial planning and analysis, Finance strategy and transformation, leading the IFRS 15 introduction from a business Finance side, and leading Finance workstreams of M&A projects. We are also responsible for expenses management of the division and spearheading financial analysis that enables successful business steering and performance management. We work closely with the Solutions Management team and their respective teams, Group, and Reinsurance Finance teams globally.

Minimum Qualifications:
University degree, preferably in economics, finance, business administration, or natural sciences.
High degree of agility to adapt at speed.
5 years in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Treasury, or a similar function.
Work experience in an insurance or reinsurance company preferred.
Good understanding of financial statements and IFRS.
Strong MS and Excel skills.
Foundry and/or PySpark experience preferred.
