Internship - AI in IX Group Processes Analytics

The Position
The group processes data & Analytics team is part of the Business Domain group processes within the Integrated IT organisation of Roche, with a multicultural, dynamic and ambitious team co-creating innovative data & Analytics solutions with their customers in the group business functions striving for excellence and improved efficiencies.
You will work on high-value Analytical use cases while exploring new technical approaches to simplify and speed up delivery, ensuring sustainability. You will provide advice and consulting support to key business stakeholders, demonstrating value through quick demos and proof-of-values to answer business questions.
You will interact with various stakeholders and business partners across multiple functional organizations to understand their business problems, processes, data flows and priorities, delivering analytical needs and requirements by collaborating with various IT teams.
Your Impact
We are seeking highly motivated students with a passion for Analytics and AI, ideally with a background in business administration (Finance, Procurement) or Legal.
You will access cutting-edge technologies and work with experts in the business for transformative solutions.
You will act as a scrum master or agile coach to squads as needed, planning implementation and execution of data initiatives.
You will understand Business requirements (Finance, Procurement, Legal, others) and processes, translating them into platform-specific solutions and system design, effectively bridging between business and IT.
Your Profile
We are looking for highly motivated, creative and independent students who are excited about working in a dynamic team aiming at pushing frontiers. You have a Master Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent degree and/or experience with specialization in machine learning/data mining and experience with data and statistical languages/tools such as SQL, R, Python, as well as visualization tools like Tableau or similar.
You exhibit strong business partnering, communication and collaboration skills with a lean-agile, entrepreneurial mindset. You have background knowledge in business administration (Finance, Procurement) or Legal.
Language requirements: English is a must, German is good to have.
