Global Category Management
* Define Global Category Strategy
* Agree on Global Category Strategy with Internal Stakeholders
* Lead Definition of Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Strategies
* Identify Initiatives for Continuous Improvement
* Develop Action Plan for Effective Delivery
* Communicate Category Strategy to Stakeholders
* Lead Regular Business Reviews with Stakeholders
* Partner with Local Teams to Identify Unmet Needs
* Validate Purchasing Files and Ensure Compliance
* Coach and Train Site Buyers
Sourcing and Supplier Management
* Engage with Stakeholders to Anticipate Needs
* Participate in Annual Budget Review to Identify Sourcing Initiatives
* Establish Effective Network with Suppliers and Stakeholders
* Define Technical and Functional Requirements
* Prospect and Validate Potential Suppliers
* Lead Request for Information and Request for Tenders
* Manage Risks through Proper Contracting Process
* Ensure Smooth Handover to Regional/Local Procurement
* Exploit Synergies and Optimize Procurement Support
* Support On-Time-In-Full Delivery of Sourcing Projects
* Manage Supplier Relationships
* Monitor and Report Supplier Performance
* Implement EDI with Relevant Suppliers
* Maintain Auditability of Procurement Files
* Ensure Compliance with Organisation Procedures
Analysis and Reporting
* Lead Data Collection for Global Category Strategy
* Analyse Demand, Supply, Market Trends, and Cost Drivers
* Perform Total Cost of Ownership Analysis
* Contribute to Organisation's Annual Budgeting Exercise
* Build Sourcing Pipeline and Update Status
* Track and Record Cost Avoidance/Savings
* Contribute to Procurement Key Performance Indicators
Expected Profile
* Experience: 12-15 years of professional experience, including 5-10 years in Indirect procurement, in a multinational environment as category manager or lead buyer of Indirect categories.
* Solid Experience: contracts negotiation, contracts management, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management.
* Ability to Analyze Complex Activities
* Previous Experience in International Humanitarian Organisations
* Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay Process and ERP Software
* Master in Procurement
* Proficient in English and French
