Job Title: Logistics and Operations Support Specialist
SUMMARY
This role involves processing and improving various logistic and operations tasks, including shipping instructions to vendors and preparing shipments from EU warehouses. You will also manage cost and pricing updates for all EU warehouse locations.
A detail-oriented professional with good communication skills is required due to internal promotion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics
* Manage the EU Logistics inbox and prioritize tasks by given color flags
* Execute product transfers to SBC EU warehouses and worldwide locations
* Execute inbound product transfers from SBC USA and SBC water bottle orders
* Communicate shipping instructions to external vendors
* Forward shipping documents where needed and file documents accordingly
* Act as a backup for various tasks when needed and be a team player
Costing
* Monitor Data Accuracy in Oracle ERP system
* Manage cost and pricing updates for all EU warehouse locations
* Analyze and review existing cost data to ensure system accuracy
* Maintain price lists
* Internal customer maintenance
REQUIREMENTS
* Commercial education with 3-5 years of experience in Logistics or Operations, preferably in the bike or sports industry
* Profound business understanding and good analytical and planning skills
* DISTINCT RIDER-CENTRIC MINDSET WITH A HIGH SERVICE-ORIENTATION
* Responsible, dedicated, and pro-active attitude with the ability to stay calm and patient and keep the overview in hectic times
* Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to effectively interact with riders and team members, additional German, Italian or Spanish is an advantage
* Proficient IT user knowledge (MS Office, specifically Excel, ERP systems like Oracle or SAP)
