About the Role: A leading engineering consultancy focused on integrated solutions for safety, sustainability, and energy efficiency is looking for a motivated Project Manager in Fire Protection.
The role involves leading fire protection projects, advising clients and planners, and developing innovative fire protection and smoke control concepts in Zurich.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead complex fire protection projects and provide consulting to clients and planners.
* Develop, manage, and create innovative, project-specific fire protection and smoke control concepts.
* Determine needs, apply regulations, and meet client requirements and expectations in construction and renovation projects.
* Develop and implement fire protection measures.
* Oversee project execution, ensure quality control on-site, and manage projects from planning to commissioning.
* Ensure technical accuracy and timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
* Degree in engineering (e.g., Security & Safety Engineering, Rescue Engineering, Civil Engineering) or equivalent higher education (HF- Höhere Berufsausbildung), ideally in construction, or qualification as a fire protection specialist (VKF).
* At least 2 years of experience in fire protection and project management.
* Efficient, structured, and precise working style, enjoying collaboration in an interdisciplinary and dynamic team.
* Experience using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and conducting performance-based design is preferred.
* Independent and flexible with good CAD (AutoCAD) skills.
* Familiarity with Swiss norms and fire protection guidelines is a plus but not required.
* Proficient in MS Office, with excellent German language proficiency (spoken and written).
