Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary representative for the project engineering team throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design phase to project handover, covering design, technical support, procurement, construction, commissioning, and qualification.
* Review and provide feedback on all engineering documentation, including P&IDs, equipment lists, calculations, data sheets, specifications, URS, TS, and drawings.
* Participate in approval process for critical engineering documents such as Fluid Lists, P&IDs, and CQV documentation.
* Ensure accountability for project schedule and budget within defined scope of work.
* Coordinate all stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery while adhering to budget constraints for assigned scope.
* Contribute to safety risk analysis (e.g., HAZOP) and take ownership of mitigation actions within mechanical discipline.
* Review and approve commissioning and qualification (C&Q) documentation.
* Provide support for commissioning and qualification activities through to successful handover to Operations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Process, Pharmaceutical, Biochemical, or related discipline).
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Engineering or Project Management within (bio)chemical or pharmaceutical industries, including international project experience.
* Strong technical expertise across multiple engineering disciplines within pharmaceutical environment, including clean and black utilities, process systems, automation, instrumentation, and civil engineering.
* Proven experience as engineering package owner on full-scale startup projects, from design through to commercial operations.
* Task-oriented individual with demonstrated ability to meet objectives and achieve results within set deadlines.
* Deep understanding of CQV lifecycle and its integration into engineering projects.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects effectively.
* Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
