Job Overview:
RBI is the global owner of 4 amazing brands – Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Hortons and Firehouse Subs. This position is responsible for designing the processes that are happening in Burger King restaurants. These include the processes for team members, managers, etc. The work is very cross functional because the need to change or create processes can vary. Any change to the restaurant process proposed by any department will involve discussion with this role. The person in this role will define processes and also design the plans to take the process from theoretical all the way to wide adoption in Burger King international restaurants. Position sits within the International OPS structure, which is responsible for strategic OPS projects for Burger King brand internationally.
Responsibilities:
1. Be the international expert related to in-restaurant processes.
2. Own priority projects specific to operational processes.
3. Support regional teams on initial priority project execution.
4. Develop new, innovative, and helpful restaurant processes.
5. Create compelling materials for communicating and convincing others of project value.
6. Project plan cross-functionally and cross-regionally to ensure plans are robust enough to be properly completed internationally.
7. Work closely with brand marketing team to complete brand level priorities.
8. Engage with Operations Standards team to ensure new processes are encoded into official documentation and ensure that new processes will abide by brand standards.
9. Review training materials developed on new and existing processes.
10. Continuously improve processes for more efficiency, consistency, improved guest experience and profitability.
Desired qualifications & skills:
11. 5+ years' experience as a Restaurant General Manager, ideally in QSR industry
12. 5+ years' of experience in in an operational role with regional/global scale in Quick Service Restaurant industry
13. 2+ years’ experience in project management
14. Basic business and financial acumen
15. Solid problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
16. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
17. Proficiency in Microsoft Office stack
18. Experience working on global/international team is preferable
19. Fluent English is required
