In this role, you will be part of driving the global PR and Communication at SCOTT. Reporting to the PR & COMMUNICATIONS LEAD, this is a hands-on role in a dynamic team that works across all sports divisions at SCOTT. The role is exciting and varied, with the opportunity to take increased responsibility for a range of projects. We are looking for a motivated candidate, with a passion for the outdoors and a vast interest in the sports media landscape. With excellent copywriting skills, you are a confident communicator, and excited to manage a range of projects with lots of different teams.
Tasks:
* Support in managing media relations: Coordinating media enquiries and requests; maintain and update media contact directory; support organisation of press camps, events and visits; coordinate seeding and sample distribution.
* Coordinate Press & Media Tools: Manage the digital press room and asset library; create press releases and press material; create and distribute regular Media newsletters; support in content distribution for professional race teams.
* Oversee quality communications: Execute regular Marketing newsletters for the SCOTT network; support B2B with regular communications and marketing tools; manage SCOTT's internal Marketing portal.
* Media Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee clippings and media monitoring; collate clippings for regular reports and special reports; gather press reviews and oversee publishing.
Requirements:
* Education in communication, marketing or a related field and 1-2 years of experience in the sports industry and/or working in a PR, marketing or communication related position.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; German/French/Spanish is an advantage.
* High affinity and know-how of the bike and/or wintersport market, and the media.
* Personal interest in various outdoor sports disciplines.
* Willingness to travel.
