How you can make a difference :
Your main role and responsibilities include:
1. Create, develop and manage a new sales team incl. recruiting, training, and managing new sales representatives
2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence
3. Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by effectivelly managing the team and by assessing the teams’ strengths and weaknesses
4. know the key products and demonstrate them virtually and in front of a customer
5. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts
6. Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics
7. Liaise and develop professional relationships with regional representatives and sales managers
8. Working closely together with the business unit's product managers to feed back market insights for innovations
9. Attend conferences and exhibitions when required to identify opportunities
10. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders at the headquarters and in the subsidaries
11. Oversee sales forecasting and financial invoicing for all department activities within the set budget
12. Manage sales and cost budgets and update financial records
This Sales Team Leader role can be carried out from home office with substantial travel activities.
That’s what you bring along :
13. Master's degree in biology, chemistry or a related field
14. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
15. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales leadership role
16. Experience with sales of laboratory equipment or reagents is a plus
17. Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide and support a team
18. Well organized and systematically acting personnality
19. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
20. Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and metrics to set-up a plan
21. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
22. Ability to travel across Europe as needed
23. Fluent in German and very good in English (C1 Level), fluent in French and other local languages is an additional plus
