The Testing & Commissioning Engineer role is part of Stadler Signalling, the group's competence center for signalling technology and digitalization. The team develops and refines signalling solutions to shape the future of mobility.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Understand the CBTC/ATO system, including exchanges between subsystems and their interactions.
* Assist in defining pre-requisites and priorities for T&C planning.
* Develop and maintain T&C procedures and protocols.
* Plan, execute, and take responsibility for T&C activities according to defined test procedures.
* Complete test documentation, data sheets, defect, and incident reports.
* Identify and report project and technical problems, assisting in mitigation measures.
* Manage hardware and software documentation and configuration in the field.
* Conduct investigations based on remote diagnostic data.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, liaising with relevant parties as needed.
Requirements
* A completed technical education as an electrical or computer science engineer from ETH/TU/FH or comparable institutions.
* At least 1-3 years of professional experience in Signalling Test and/or Commissioning.
* Familiarity with railway signalling systems, functionalities, and architecture of each subsystem.
* Familiarity with relevant CENELEC standards.
* Familiarity with writing and reviewing technical documentation.
* Proven troubleshooting skills for problem identification and resolution.
* An open, flexible, team player with a goal-oriented personality.
* Good knowledge of English; German language is an advantage.
