Job Title: Financial Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our international group with subsidiaries in several countries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
* Manage the consolidation of financial statements from multiple subsidiaries.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
* Prepare and present consolidated financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
2. Compliance and Internal Controls:
* Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
* Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any findings promptly.
3. Cash Flow and Financial Management:
* Manage cash flow, funding, and financial risks across all subsidiaries.
* Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet the company's short-term and long-term obligations.
* Develop strategies to optimize the company's financial position.
4. Cross-Border Coordination:
* Handle cross-border transactions and ensure proper reconciliation and elimination of intercompany transactions.
* Provide guidance and support to local accounting teams on complex financial issues.
* Standardize accounting procedures and policies across all subsidiaries.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
* Lead and mentor local accounting teams, ensuring they are well-trained and aligned with the overall financial strategy.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
6. Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Controlling. A Master's degree is preferred.
* CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
* Several years of well-rounded financial controller experience in an international environment or equivalent practical experience.
* Good knowledge of IFRS and consolidation.
* Familiar with ICS.
* Ability to look at business processes with a holistic view from an End-to-End perspective.
* Good presentation, reporting and communication skills to a variety of stakeholders.
* Must have full working rights in Switzerland.
* Must be based in Zug or willing to commute at least 2 times per week.
