Job Responsibilities
1. Prospect new clients and manage current accounts for existing and new products across railway, renewable energy, and industrial applications, ensuring sustainable business growth.
2. Collaborate closely with sales teams, product line managers, product development teams, marketing, and other business units.
3. Prepare and organize key business meetings with prospective clients to develop business opportunities.
4. Provide market feedback to product development teams and after-sales support.
5. Identify market opportunities in railway, industrial, and renewable energy applications, guide the development of new business segments, and the product roadmap.
6. Develop business cases for individual products in cooperation with product line managers and sales teams.
7. Prepare product launch and market placement plans with marketing, sales, and product line managers.
8. Provide technical expertise, drive customer-oriented activities, implement company strategies, introduce Sécheron's products on future platforms.
9. Analyze customer requests and needs, and ensure clients receive firm offers according to their needs, technical specifications, in a timely manner.
10. Develop after-sales services.
Requirements
1. Technical degree in Electrical / Electromechanical / Power Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Proven track record introducing power products to new international clients, driving key people across the organization.
3. Minimum 5 years of successful technical and sales experience in an electrical equipment environment.
4. Good knowledge of at least one of the following industry sectors: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy, and e-mobility.
5. Interest and ability to understand DC and AC power systems and corresponding product needs.
6. Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
7. Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to develop convincing communication strategies based on technical rationale.
9. Proven ability to think creatively, identify, and resolve problems.
10. Experienced working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
11. Excellent English (written and oral), French, and/or German desirable.
12. Open to frequent traveling.
