A friendly and supportive family based in Geneva is seeking a caring and experienced Nanny for their three-year-old son, born in July 2021. The family values open communication and teamwork, ensuring the nanny feels like a valued member of their household. Their home includes a housekeeper, allowing the nanny to focus on engaging with their child through creative and educational activities, as well as preparing nutritious meals.
The child attends kindergarten five times a week (8:45 - 15:00) and is known for his cheerful and energetic personality. He enjoys arts and crafts, imaginative play, and social interactions with his classmates.

Days and hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Key responsibilities:
Create a fun, stimulating, and safe environment for the child.
Plan and execute daily educational and creative activities tailored to his interests, including arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor exploration, and interactive learning games.
Foster a love for learning through engaging play that enhances cognitive, motor, and social skills.
Prepare healthy meals suitable for a young child, incorporating balanced nutrition into his diet.
Assist with bath time and hygiene routines, reinforcing independence and healthy habits.
Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates and feedback.
Ensure a clean and organized play space that encourages curiosity and creativity.
Supervise playtime and encourage positive social interactions with peers.
Manage nap and bedtime routines to promote healthy sleep habits.
Adapt activities based on the child's mood and developmental progress.
Be available for holiday travel (typically 3-4 times a year for short durations).

Requirements
Legal right to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU passport, valid work permit, or Swiss residency).
Written letters of recommendations or job certificates that we can validate.
A minimum of 3 years previous professional experience in childcare, particularly with children of a similar age.
Valid and current child first aid and CPR certifications.
Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
Native-level English speaker.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Flexibility with working hours and occasional travel.
