For the expansion of our EMEA team, argenx is looking for a Sales & Marketing Associate Director for Switzerland & Austria (CHAT), based in Switzerland.
PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION
argenx is seeking a dynamic and visionary Sales & Marketing Associate Director to achieve the commercial objectives of Vyvgart in Switzerland & Austria (CHAT), including brand management, promotional activities, and sales activities (with a mix of direct field presence and sales team leadership). The role will focus on both near-term and pipeline assets within the CHAT market. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the success of argenx's groundbreaking pipeline, bringing our life-changing therapies to patients who need them.
The Sales & Marketing Associate Director reports to the Cluster Lead “Benelux, Nordics and CHAT” and partner closely with the Associate Director Medical, CHAT and the EMEA Sales & Marketing Team.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Proactively identify opportunities to accelerate growth of the brand VYVGART® in CHAT, in partnership with the CHAT & EMEA teams
2. Lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy and promotional initiatives including omnichannel activities for the brand VYVGART® for CHAT, leveraging the strategy & assets developed by the EMEA & CHAT team
3. Promote safe and adequate use of our product, in accordance with the product label to ensure that the benefits and long-term value of the product are fully understood and recognized
Either directly in selected centers
Or by leading, developing and coaching a sales team across Switzerland and Austria
4. Achieve commercial objectives:
Owning, driving & developing territory and account plans, including customer targeting, in line with country strategy and in partnership with the local Medical Affairs team
Achieve pre-launch and post-launch KPIs, including volume targets
5. Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to ensure competitive advantage, after developing a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
6. Ensure sales and marketing efforts maximize returns on assets while achieving the strategic goals within business policies
7. Manage and execute local meetings for physicians and other healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and optimal care, in strong collaboration and partnership with the Medical Affairs Team
8. Collaborate with global marketing and commercial teams to ensure alignment with overall corporate strategy.
9. Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to adapt strategies accordingly
10. Represent the company at local and national events and congresses
11. Conduct business activities to highest ethical standards in accordance with countries code of practice and local laws and regulations
12. Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation
13. Provide regular reporting on performance, forecasting, and market insights to the senior management team.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
28. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
29. Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales and marketing, with a strong track record of success.
30. Previous experience working in rare diseases and therapeutic areas that are similar or analogous to those being explored by argenx.
31. Well-established, deep network across the industry in Switzerland and Austria and possess competitive and market intelligence.
32. Proven marketing acumen, with:
