Job Summary
This position oversees the management of restoration projects, from initial estimate and scope of work to project completion. The Restoration Project Manager ensures exceptional customer service and quality work, while driving operational excellence in their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Estimation: Create accurate scopes of work and prepare estimates using Xactimate software.
* Customer Communication: Negotiate project scope and estimates with customers and clients, ensuring mutual understanding and agreement.
* Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule, coordinate, and oversee crews and resources to deliver timely and high-quality services.
* Document Review: Review job site documentation to support services provided and ensure proper billing processes.
* Communication: Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives.
* Expense Management: Manage production expenses, including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Customer Experience: Manage customer satisfaction, tracked through online reviews.
* Potential Customer Response: Provide prompt response to potential customers.
* Team Recruitment and Training: Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training restoration team members.
Requirements:
* Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
* Educational Qualifications: High school diploma/GED; Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Management Experience: At least 1 year of management and/or supervisory experience.
* Industry Experience: At least 3 years of industry experience.
* Certification: IICRC certification is mandatory.
* Availability: Ability to be on-call, including weekends and overtime as needed, and participate in after-hours emergency call rotation.
* Background Check: Participation in a background check, subject to applicable law.
Skills and Physical Demands:
* Lifting Capacity: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
* Physical Abilities: Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
* Repetitive Tasks: Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
* Cleaning Agents: Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
* Background Check Compliance: Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
