Job Description for IT Support Specialist at Umanova
Summary:
Umanova is a Swiss professional services company with an innovative approach to consulting. We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide technical support in the Workplace Services area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage incidents, problems, and service requests in line with organizational objectives and business needs.
* Provide physical IMAC support for multiple hardware and log requestor incidents received by phone, email, or other communication channels.
* Offer workarounds and solutions based on Service Level Objectives and report/escalate issues to the Service Desk Coordinator/Manager.
* Propose modifications to IM&T Services to reduce user impact and participate in IM&T Service testing, deployment, and stabilization.
Technical Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems.
* General knowledge of IT infrastructure: LAN, WAN, Windows servers, Active Directory.
* Good knowledge of informatics hardware (PC, Printer, Scanner, Smartphones, etc.)
* Basic knowledge in SAP system (accounting, printing).
Functional Skills & Competencies:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good organizational skills.
* Ability to manage and motivate teams.
Primary Qualifications:
* Proven experience of at least 5 years in IT support teams in medium and large organizations.
* Knowledge of IT support ticketing systems.
* French native fluency, English proficiency a plus.
