Drives of ABB Motion System Drives are mostly used to control and optimize customer processes while saving energy
when controlling a large electric motor. Typically, our products are installed in the heavy industry such as Metals, Marine,
Mining, Chemicals, Oil and Gas, Renewables…
Our Advanced Customer Support team is the backbone of the global service network to ensure a fast and efficient issue
resolution of our customers mission critical machinery. The learning of each resolved case we convert into products
improvements to achieve the highest possible usability and reliability of our products.

You will be mainly accountable for:
• As the Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for the continuous quality improvement of our products while
ensuring exceptional customer experience for our variable speed drives and the connected systems.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive excellence in servicing our products during commissioning and
troubleshooting from remote
• Provide technical guidance and lead for the resolution of complex issues happening during the
installation/commissioning of the drive systems and also during their entire life time
• Provide technical training to ABB's global service network (abroad and locally)
• Ensure know how transfer between drives factory and global service network
• Participation in 24/7 expert support
• Global travel to our customers (up to 20%)Qualifications for the roleTechnical education (MSc/BSC or equivalent degree in engineering)2y+ experience in Service and commissioning of Medium Voltage Drives – VSI topology, ideally with focus oncommissioning and troubleshootingAbility to apply structured and methodic work styleHigh focus on quality improvements and customer experienceMotivated to drive innovation and product improvementAbility to act solution oriented and variate different approaches flexible and creativeMore about usABB System Drives is a global supplier of high-power, high-performance drives, drive systems and packages for
