Join Hitachi Energy's High Voltage Products unit as a Project Manager for Site Installation in Zürich-Oerlikon. In this challenging position (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the professional and timely execution of installation, commissioning and maintenance work of GIS-Projects. You will work on the continuous improvement of processes and activities (CIP), with the aim of always creating a high level of customer satisfaction and an optimal project result for Hitachi Energy.

How you’ll make an impact
1. Responsible for the handling, organizational management, and coordination of on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance work.
2. Act as the contact person for internal and external customers.
3. Supervise assigned field staff, prepare installation schedules considering the available and necessary resources (consumables, tools, and staff), monitor and document project progress and costs (reporting) and intervene timely and calm in situations of escalations.
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and necessary quality assurance measures.
5. Minimize project costs and risks, and process deviation reports during on-site work, including initiating appropriate corrective measures.
6. Compile, file, and archive documentation (Red Mark, test records, and reports) for 'As Built' preparation and handle customer billing.
Your background
1. Technical training and 2-3 years of practical experience in the installation and/or commissioning.
2. Good written and spoken German and English, other languages an advantage.
3. Confident appearance and convincing communication skills, especially when working with different cultures.
4. Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
5. Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
