We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our Process Solutions team in Switzerland.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Process design of equipment and units for separation processes, especially for systems with high complexity
Technical support to Sales and Applications & Technology engineers in the bidding phase
Performance of basic engineering and detailed engineering work (process)
Project management with technical and commercial responsibility for engineering projects (e.g. studies)
Sizing of process equipment (columns, vessels, heat exchangers, etc)
Taking ownership for improvement and development of the technology - in coordination with R&D
Responsible for the Sulzer process scope in project teams and towards our clients
Support commissioning and optimization of units for thermal separation
Participation in technical reviews with clients (P&ID reviews, HAZOP, etc)
Lead internal development projects for continuous improvement
Know how conservation and documentation maintenance
To succeed in this role, you will need:
University degree in process or chemical engineering and looking forward to contribute with your talent and engagement to a well-established team of process engineers
At least 7 years of experience in process design and knowledge on separation technologies
Passion to work in a core discipline of engineering, play a key role in project teams and maintain regular contact to our international client base
Enjoy to travel and spend time abroad for meetings and commissioning (global travelling approx. 30%)
Fluent in English and preferably in German language
You are able to adapt to people in other disciplines and various cultures
