In this position, you are responsible for continuously developing the required technologies for upgrading our existing units. The research and development areas are around Pressurisation, Water Quality, and vacuum degassing in HVAC applications. You will be part of the R&D Team in our Competence Centre in Fullinsdorf, Baselland, Switzerland. Key Responsibilities You join the team to work on the development of the technology of the next generation of TecBoxes. The objective is to have a competitive product range for all possible HVAC applications. You define together with the Senior Specialist the areas of further technology development. You run independently technology research and define development steps and drive execution. Therefore, coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for feasibility studies and drive the integration into the overall TecBox unit. Together with Lab Engineers, you define the testing procedures including the definition of the test requirements and test rig setup. You are responsible for the complete and appropriate documentation of research and testing. You are applying state of the art technology to support proper development activities by using advanced simulation technologies (CFD). You will work cross functional with external partners and other members of the R&D Competence Centres in Europe. Critical Competencies for Success Masters degree in Mechanics with additional knowledge in Electronics or Mechatronics 5 years+ experience in development of mechatronic systems HVAC experience a plus Scientific and analytical approach towards technical challenges while keeping focus on business requirements on the technology.
