Materials Requirements Planner
The Materials Requirements Planner is responsible for proactively maintaining and continuously improving the supply of Customer Supplier Materials. They perform duties to ensure the Customer Supplier Materials Requirements Plans are completed, ensuring the timely availability of materials and effective communication with all relevant collaborators to drive short-term execution of plans. This role involves liaising with key functions to ensure timely updates to material plans considering changes or material availability issues, and driving resolution of scheduling conflicts.

Key responsibilities:
1. Ensure the completion of Materials Requirements Plans to support the product Supply Plan, liaising with key functions for updates and changes.
2. Convert planned orders into material plans, including creation and management of material requirements.
3. Coordinate with Supply Planner and Schedulers for up-to-date material plans responsive to requirements.
4. Create and maintain detailed material planning parameters in planning systems.
5. Convert material requirements plans into purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
6. Expedite material availability through liaison with procurement and inbound processing teams.
7. Manage critical metrics related to material availability to ensure accurate understanding and reporting.
8. Execute actions to support inventory management, reducing waste and scrap.
9. Collaborate with Supply Planner, Scheduler, and PM to develop safety stock and inventory plans aligned with production.
10. Track, report, and facilitate on-time material availability, including testing and release for production.
Key requirements:
1. Degree or equivalent experience in SCM, Procurement, or relevant field.
2. Experience in SCM, Materials Planning/Scheduling, and/or Purchasing.
3. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Good communication and presentation skills.
5. Fluency in German and English.
6. Strong team orientation and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
