We are seeking a motivated Field Application Engineer to bridge our engineering teams and customers, ensuring the effective deployment and support of our advanced machinery in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and execute in-house tests and field tests for new products, gathering performance data and ensuring smooth execution in live environments.
2. Assist customers with preparation, commissioning, and after-sales support of machines to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
3. Provide prompt and knowledgeable technical support for after-sales service, troubleshooting, and maintenance to resolve customer issues effectively.
4. Gather valuable customer insights and feedback from fieldwork and channel them to the product development team to refine product designs and features.
What we look for:
* University degree in automation engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field.
* Technical knowledge and experience with testing, commissioning, and servicing industrial automation equipment.
* Experience with new product introduction and prototypes.
* Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Understanding of Python and C++ programming (or willingness to learn).
* Experience with Omron/MiR AMRs and their commissioning is a plus.
* Good understanding of customer needs and requirements in the field of intralogistics and manufacturing.
* Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
