We are seeking a Consultant to join our Risk Consulting and Forensic Services team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior team members to help clients identify risks, enhance governance and compliance frameworks, and strengthen internal controls to ensure robust organizational resilience.
Your Impact:
In this role, you will work on diverse and impactful projects aimed at helping clients identify, mitigate, and manage risks effectively. From conducting forensic investigations to building internal frameworks and improving governance structures, your efforts will contribute directly to strengthening client organizations. You will also play an integral role in ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and enhancing internal controls through internal audits, delivering high-quality outcomes that align with industry best practices.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, develop and implement risk management strategies and systems, and audit and optimize Risk Management Systems (RMS).
* Design and implement compliance management systems, including policies, training programs, and whistleblowing mechanisms, while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.
* Support investigations into fraud, bribery, corruption, and other misconduct by analyzing financial data, conducting interviews, and performing technology-assisted document reviews, with findings documented in detailed, fact-based reports.
* Evaluate existing internal controls, recommend process enhancements, and design, optimize, implement, and audit Internal Control Systems (ICS) to strengthen governance frameworks.
* Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans that address financial, operational, and compliance risks, while optimizing internal audit processes to align with best practices.
* Assess and improve governance structures to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging risks to deliver innovative solutions and insights to clients.
Your Skill Set and Background:
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about solving complex challenges and driven to make a meaningful impact. You’ll excel in this role if you have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with the technical knowledge and interpersonal skills required to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Completed university degree from a university in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for connecting business challenges with risks, processes, and controls.
* Advanced skills in IT tools (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint) and a keen eye for detail, with an interest in Swiss and international legal frameworks related to economic crimes.
* A proactive approach to learning, with a strong desire to grow personally and professionally.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English; knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
* A collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently and take responsibility from day one in an environment that emphasizes coaching and feedback.
* Assertiveness, proactivity, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to build strong internal and external relationships within large organizations.
