WinGD is seeking a talented individual to join our team.
In this role, you will be part of the forefront of technological innovation within the marine industry. Our state-of-the-art R&D center is pushing the development of the next generation of sustainable marine engines. As an essential part of the R&D team, you will face highly technical challenges on a daily basis, allowing for significant learning opportunities in engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform complex technical calculations and simulations
2. Design and develop hydraulic components and injection system components
3. Manage and support the creation of technical drawings with our Engineering Centers in Asia
4. Design component test rigs and support prototype testing
5. Support licensees and suppliers, handle requests for alternative executions and nonconformity reports
6. Support the Operations department in failure investigation and root cause analysis
7. Product care and introduction of product improvements for our portfolio engines
8. Prepare product specifications and instructions for licensees and suppliers
9. Create design guidelines and documentation
Requirements:
1. MSc, BSc or Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering
2. Fluent in English and spoken German (advantageous)
3. Knowledge of hydraulics and experience with 1D hydraulic simulations
4. Good understanding of mechanical components and their development
5. Knowledge in CAD / PLM (NX & Teamcenter) and technical drawing creation
6. Proficient in common IT software
7. Independent, self-driven, and target-oriented work style
