Job Description
This role requires to be onsite in Basel 3 days per week.
Fusion Consulting is seeking a Project Manager with 4 to 8 years of experience to lead and manage complex IT infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for delivering large-scale projects focused on infrastructure components, including:
* Data Center / Server
* Citrix/VDI
* Network
* Workplace Systems
* Security
Within the pharmaceutical industry, you will lead mid- to large-sized teams, taking full ownership of the project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting business objectives. Strong leadership, a proven track record in handling high-priority projects, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure are essential.
What you will be doing:
* Lead cross-functional teams across multiple departments, ensuring timely completion of project tasks and driving alignment among stakeholders.
* Develop and manage detailed project plans, covering scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, including server setups, network improvements, cloud transitions, and data center upgrades.
* Facilitate regular meetings, provide consistent status updates, and maintain clear communication across all organizational levels.
* Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring all project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards.
* Maintain detailed project documentation, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and GxP regulations, and lead post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* 4-8 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects, with at least 3 projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (network, data center, workplace systems, security) and familiarity with GxP regulations.
* Proven leadership skills in managing complex, large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of aligning stakeholders, managing expectations, and effectively conveying project status.
* Demonstrated ability to identify, escalate, and mitigate risks in high-complexity projects.
* Proficiency in project management tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to specialized industry software.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* PMP certification preferred; educational background in business, IT, or related fields.
* Fluency in English.
