OPEX Continuous Improvement Program Head
Location: Switzerland 70–80% presence on-site, and occasional global travel.
Contract - Mission - Global Operational Excellence.
As a key member of the Global Operational Excellence organization, the OPEX Continuous Improvement Program Head will lead strategic initiatives to drive operational excellence, foster a culture of efficiency and quality, and achieve cost optimization across the Global Engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Excellence Leadership: Identify and implement process improvements focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and sustainability in both OPEX and CAPEX projects.
* Lean & Six Sigma Expertise: Utilize advanced LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies to establish best practices, optimize workflows, and embed continuous improvement.
* Program Oversight: Manage, track, and report on improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Provide leadership updates on key metrics: Time, Cost, and Quality.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including SMEs and project teams, to drive alignment and engagement.
* Performance Optimization: Define measurable objectives, monitor team performance, and foster a high-performance culture.
* Process Standardization: Develop and implement SOPs, policies, and guidance documents to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 10 years of relevant experience in complex, global roles.
* Black Belt certification in LEAN or Six Sigma with demonstrated expertise in operational excellence methodologies.
* Proven success in leading global initiatives and achieving measurable improvements.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership.
* Fluency in English (German is advantageous).
