For our technology team in Zurich, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will be tasked with the design, implementation, and maintenance of our central process platform. This platform facilitates process digitalization and automation throughout the entire bank on a global scale. It plays a crucial role in ensuring hundreds of support processes operate swiftly, securely, and efficiently.
We use a state-of-the-art technology stack including Java/Kotlin, Kafka, Spring Boot, OpenShift (Docker), and Azure.

What would your role be:
* Develop internal applications based on Spring Boot and configure commercial-off-the-shelf applications (Atlassian Jira) to help us digitalize processes and increase efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose and build high quality solutions.
* Do and participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes.
* Assist in the testing and debugging of new and existing features to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* Prepare and maintain documentation for software features and processes to ensure clear and accurate information is available for reference.
* Provide support for our own services, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
* Be part of our journey to use more cloud native features.
What are we looking for:
* Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science; Information Technology; or a related field.
* Experience with our tech stack: Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Kafka, OpenShift, Github Actions, Azure.
* 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
* Eagerness to learn new concepts and skills.
* Good communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (highly desirable).
