For our CTU we are looking for a Clinical Data Manager 100%. The position is available for a period of 3 years from October 1st, 2025 on (or upon agreement) with the possibility of an extension.
These are your tasks:
Develop and maintain GCP-compliant databases for scientific research projects (e.g. secuTrial)
Manage data cleaning, data review, data query resolution procedures and data extractions within agreed timelines
Systematic database and data quality assurance, secure storage and archiving per internal requirements and ICH-GCP guidelines
Develop and maintain respective codebooks for the databases
Monitor and maintain the operation of databases in cooperation with the internal IT department and external support providers
Support, train and counsel researchers from database specification to archiving according to internal SOPs and ICH-GCP guidelines
Write, review, and approve technical and user related data management documents
Support the maintenance of further internal databases and fullstack web applications (frontend and backend) based on PHP
Teach on data management topics
What makes you stand out:
University degree (or equivalent) in life sciences or technical disciplines
Several years' experience as data manager in clinical and/or epidemiological research
Proficient in one of the leading electronic data capture systems (i.e., secuTrial, REDCap)
Proficient in using R Studio and Stata
Knowledge of international clinical research regulations and requirements (e.g. ICH/GCP) is an advantage
Excellent German (business fluent) and good English language skills; both spoken and written
Soft skills: Self-managed and structured way of working, strong customer orientation, able to work and communicate in a team
