We are seeking a Field Service Engineer home-based in Switzerland (German-speaking region) with daily travel across Switzerland and occasionally to other German-speaking countries (Austria, Germany), and rarely to other countries.
Periodically, the candidate will be required to travel to our offices in Novazzano (Switzerland) and Val della Torre (Turin, Piedmont, Italy) for training and team alignment.
As with all Field Service Engineers, the candidate will also participate in phone support (hotline).
The role involves supporting clients and partners with automation and middleware products, performing on-site tasks such as installations, upgrades, and training.
As part of the Inpeco Customer Success Team, you may accompany the sales team on trips to support tenders or potential German-speaking clients.
We are looking for candidates with:
* Native German speaker, fluent in English (at least B1 level)
* Availability to travel 70-80% of the time
* Resiliance to stressfull situation
* Electrical Drawing Interpretation
* Mechanical and Electronical knowledge
* Previous experience as technical expert in any type of automation
* Experience in log analysis and troubleshooting of HW/FW/SW
Nice to have:
* Previous experience in healthcare industry
* Robotic control SW experience
* Experience on vision systems
* Italian Language
