About the Role
The Manufacturing Science (MSci) department is responsible for all complex issues or projects involving the product. This team of Subject Matter Experts plays a key role in addressing such matters.
The MSci Laboratory Specialist DSP serves as the SME for the lab scale product/process at Neuchatel, covering planning and execution of "scale down" purification activities, supporting the DSP laboratory team with protocol execution, troubleshooting production problems with performance or quality impacts, and improving process robustness at laboratory scale.
How You Will Contribute:
* Support Senior Laboratory Specialists with tasks such as planning and executing "scale down" purification activities, protocol execution, investigating deviations related to product, process/equipment improvement projects, small-scale/product validation activities, and writing/reviewing reports.
* Manage documentation associated with laboratory activities.
* Control laboratory equipment under your responsibility, ensuring maintenance and resolving operating problems independently.
* Manage consumable stocks and participate in laboratory logistic activities.
What You Bring to Takeda
* Knowledge of a GMP environment and quality requirements.
* Bachelor or Master in biochemistry, biotechnology, or relevant scientific discipline.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in process development.
* Theoretical knowledge of proteins and chromatography/UF (Ultrafiltration) process.
* Strong communication skills and team spirit.
* Fluent in French and English C1.
* Proficiency in Unicorn software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and LIMS.
