The Market Manager Railway is responsible for growing the business in defined global markets by defining and adapting key strategies, as well as monitoring their progress. This role involves market research, competitive analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and improve market share.
1. Grow our business in the defined global markets by defining and adapting key strategies and monitoring their progress.
2. Determine and analyze systematically the actual and future requirements of the defined target customers, as well as the market potential of the defined product portfolio (current and future).
3. Understand the value proposition of our competitors, including its development trends.
4. Identify and develop new businesses and applications, including lead generation at the customer level in the early phase.
5. Partner with Sales to diversify within key customers.
6. Understand the business environment and requirements (customer, competition, supply chain, technology, application of the products, market disruptions, etc.) and initiate the development of new products, applications, and services.
7. Define the requirements of new products (in close collaboration with Product Management) and services.
8. Suggest adjustments to existing products or customer relationships.
9. Grow the business in the defined global markets by defining and adapting key strategies and monitoring their progress.
10. Collect and analyze market information (Market Intelligence) and understand the competition landscape.
11. Understand and interpret current and future technologies utilized and applied in the market and by our target customers.
12. Actively contribute to the development, implementation, and communication of the Segment's strategy.
13. Support the Business Plan development.
14. Define a complete market offering for today and tomorrow (from H+S Group or external) and create business cases.
15. Define and support the go-to-market strategy jointly with Sales.
