Our Contribution to Climate Change Innovation
* Battery Hybrid Trains – decarbonising rail transport even in areas where the rail infrastructure is only partially electrified
* Electric Vehicle Fleet Charging – delivering sophisticated smart charging and battery management technology for charging fleets of electric trucks, buses and vans
* Utility Scale Grid Infrastructure – including our HVDC technology that connects Dogger Bank to the UK mainland grid and enables the UK to trade green energy with Norway via the North Sea Link
* Microgrid Solutions – enabling large energy consumers such as marine ports, factories and data centres, to engineer additional green power 'behind-the-meter' for their net zero transition using on-site renewable generation and energy storage
* Marine Port Solutions – enabling ships to plug into the onshore power system when they arrive in port, to avoid burning fuel to generate their own electricity
* Ai & IoT Based Solutions – using Digital technology to unlock new pathways in Energy, Transportation and Manufacturing to drive efficiency and decarbonisation

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Development
* Account Identification and Qualification: Identify, select, and qualify new strategic accounts across Hitachi BUs, Countries, and whitespace areas, in alignment with organizational goals.
* Strategic Account Growth: Grow accounts in new sectors identified by the Strategy, Consulting, and Presales teams, scaling them once proven viable.
* New Account Growth: Once new areas of the market have been incubated by the Market & Pre-sales teams, identify follow-on account to scale once the market is proven viable.
Cross-BU Collaboration
* Internal Relationship Building: Build close working relationships with Country Representatives and BUs across Europe to deliver new bookings in targeted accounts.
* Cross-BU Sales: Drive cross-BU sales for accounts currently engaged with a single BU, ensuring collaboration and alignment across Hitachi's diverse business units.
Account Expansion and Revenue Growth
* Support Country Representatives: Partner with Country Representatives to assist in growing identified accounts and building deeper engagement with clients.
* New Business Development: Open new business opportunities in selected accounts to expand Hitachi's footprint and grow One-Hitachi revenues.
Sales Targets and Metrics
* Deliver Sales Growth: Achieve sales growth by meeting and exceeding bookings targets, ensuring alignment with regional and global business objectives.
* Performance Monitoring: Track progress against key performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on account development activities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Related Field
* Minimum 8 Years of Experience in Strategic Account Management, Sales, or Business Development within a Multinational Organization
* Proven Track Record of Driving Cross-Business Unit Sales and Delivering Revenue Growth
Skills and Competencies
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify and prioritize high-value accounts and whitespace opportunities.
