Account Manager Switzerland - Financial Messaging

What will you contribute?
The Account Manager Switzerland - Financial Messaging candidate will manage a substantial, high visibility book of business within our Financial Messaging / Payments segment. The ideal candidate will need to plan and prioritize account management and sales activities with a goal of generating new bookings. This position will be the primary payments Account Manager for the banks in Switzerland and EU, increasing the volume and quality of daily exchanges between Finastra and these banks.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
* Identify and target new business opportunities to grow market share in the Financial Messaging and Payments sector.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in financial institutions.
* Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
* Present and demonstrate Finastra's Financial Messaging solutions to prospective clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation for new clients.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales quotas.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
* Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Finastra's offerings.
Experience:
* Proven track record min. 3 years in SaaS or software sales to financial institutions.
* Strong background in the financial industry and/or payments.
* Experience in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Education:
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, IT, Business, or a related field.
* Proficiency in English and French (French is a must; bilingual or native speaker preferred), German is a plus.
