Brand Strategy Manager
The Senior Brand Manager is a crucial global role in the Johnson Controls brand function. This individual will oversee all aspects of brand strategy, governance, and program deliverables for digital solutions and service offerings across Johnson Controls, with a focus on brand architecture, performance improvement, competitive benchmarking, and breakthrough strategies as well as global alignment and roll out planning.
Main Responsibilities
1. Define the brand strategy and delivery of the JCI digital technology and service brands
2. Lead digital naming processes and stakeholder sign-off
3. Lead global roll out of brand strategy updates, transformations, and integrations
4. Engage stakeholders in ideating new impactful brand strategy opportunities and driving evolution in the brand strategy in line with customer insights, market trends, and competitive pressures
5. Steer and deliver competitive benchmarks and analysis for JCI's global brand performance in digital technologies and services space, driving recommendations that break through in this industry
6. Lead governance in the global activation of the digital technologies and services brand strategy, map progress, and close gaps
7. Lead key thought leadership and positioning programs that build the equity and strength of the digital technology and services brands
8. Advance programs and activities to empower unified expressions and global alignment and engagement in the digital solutions and service brands, externally and internally
9. Strategize and deliver brand integration approaches for new acquisitions and joint ventures as well as for events and showcases
Requirements
1. Experience in marketing digital technology and solutions
2. Specific experience in Brand Strategy development for technologies or services
3. Demonstrated track record in leading with collaboration and teamwork
4. Strong sense of curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit in actively looking for opportunities
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and spoken English language skills essential to this position
6. Strong writing, analytical, project management, and organizational skills
7. Thrives in a fast-paced international environment and has a strong sense of urgency
8. Willing to work 3 days from the office
