Job Description
The holder of this position will be responsible for designing low-noise electronics spanning DC to Ka band (RF and MW domains). These electronics will be integrated into high-performance clocks or serve as updates to existing products. The recruited engineer will join the Research & Development team and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including software, mechanics, physics, multiphysics simulation, power electronics, etc.
Missions:
* Participate in the study of RF and MW electronic solutions based on product specifications and standards.
* Validate developed technological bricks.
* Write/update documentation related to development (labbook, test/qualification plan, test/qualification report, etc.).
* Collaborate with various services within the Engineering, Operations, and Programs department.
* Participate in reviewing customer specifications for funded projects.
* Write technical proposals.
Complementary Description
Responsibilities:
* Define electronics specifications according to product requirements.
* Design electronics.
* Develop test plans and conduct tests (including associated documentation).
* Perform electronic analyses (part stress analysis, worst-case analysis, impedance adaptation, electromagnetic simulation, etc.).
* Contribute to product assembly.
* Determine the acceptance process for production in collaboration with the industrialization department.
* Support product engineers as an expert.
Job Requirements
Your Profile:
* Engineer or equivalent with specialization in high-frequency electronics (RF and MW), with at least 3 years of industrial experience in multi-techno products (e.g., microwave, vacuum techniques, mechatronics, instrumentation, etc.).
* Rigorous, methodical, structured, pragmatic, and analytical approach, with a spirit of synthesis and enjoyment of teamwork.
* Analytical skills, proactive attitude, customer orientation, and solution-seeking behavior.
* Proficiency in high-frequency and electromagnetic simulations, circuit development.
* Experience in space developments is a plus.
* Proficient use of development tools: CST, Comsol Multiphysics, Ansys HFSS, Genesys, ADS...
* Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus), both orally and in writing.
