Procurement & Aircraft Fuel supply / Product Quality (QP)
Our customer is a Swiss based company. For its daily operations, they are looking for their Procurement & Distribution / Product Quality Manager (QP) who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, traceability, and management of the product, while supervising the activities of supply and distribution. He or she ensures that airport stocks are optimally managed, that ordering and transfer processes are efficient, and that all administrative requirements, including customs declarations, are met. This role also involves working closely with oil partners, depots, and airport authorities to ensure reliable refueling that complies with current regulations.
The Procurement & Distribution / Product Quality Manager must demonstrate an exceptional ability to manage conflict situations with external partners involved in the supply chain. He or she must be able to maintain a constructive dialogue with the various stakeholders in demanding contexts or in the event of disagreement. Good resistance to pressure is also essential, in order to be able to effectively manage unforeseen events and critical situations while maintaining the quality and fluidity of operations. Working in normal day shifts with possible urgencies to be managed during the weekends are part of the manager’s commitments.
Key Skills:
* Product Quality Management:
o In-depth knowledge of Product Quality Standards (QP) and Traceability Procedures (JIG)
o Ability to supervise product quality processes and ensure compliance of Operations. Analytical mind and numerical aptitude
* Procurement and inventory management:
o Competence in forecasting, ordering, and planning product transfers
o Expertise in airport inventory management, including the use of systems specialized applications
* Distribution and coordination:
o Ability to chair committees and coordinate complex multi-stakeholder operations
o Skills in administrative management, daily entries, and preparation of closings for invoicing
* Communication and collaboration:
o Excellent ability to communicate with oil partners, depots, and airport authorities
o Ability to manage relationships with external parties to ensure efficient distribution
Strategic Impact of the position:
The Procurement & Distribution / Product Quality Manager plays a key role in the company’s operational performance. By ensuring the quality, traceability, and continuous availability of the product, he or she guarantees reliable refueling that meets the expectations of partners and authorities. Its efficient management of inventory, orders, and external relations contributes directly to the efficiency and reputation of the company.
* Ensure that the operations of the systems are carried out efficiently and in compliance with technical, regulatory, and safety specifications
* Oversee the procurement pipeline and supply system order stations
* Distribution in the hydrant system
* Supervise product quality (QP) and guarantee traceability management for all Operations
* Ensure that the product meets current standards and specifications
* Setting up and maintaining product quality process documentation
* Forecast fuel requirements, manage orders and plan transfers in collaboration with depots and oil partners
* Be responsible for the application of the order management system and ensure that it is operational
* Manage airport inventory to ensure continuous availability. Management of Accompanying Bulletins (BA)
Role specific Challenges:
* Real-time inventory management:
o Maintain an optimal balance between inventory availability and operational demand, while avoiding stock-outs
* Coordination with several stakeholders:
o Collaborate effectively with oil partners, depots, and authorities to ensure smooth and compliant bunkering
* Compliance and traceability:
o Ensure that all operations comply with customs regulations, quality standards, and traceability requirements
Experience, Languages and living area:
* CFC/ bac+2 / bac+3 level
* Certifications: Audit certification is a plus
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Experience in product quality management and operations coordination supply and distribution
* Fluent French & English mandatory in written and spoken
* Living in Geneva area +- 20 km is essential
