About the job The Project Manager oversees a portfolio of one or more projects within the ONWARD organization, ensuring their successful execution and alignment with corporate objectives. This role drives the delivery of high-quality, timely outcomes by leading cross-functional teams and coordinating efforts across departments. As a key contributor to organizational success, the Project Manager is responsible for managing resources and budgets, escalating and resolving challenges, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders. The role also involves implementing and refining project management processes to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the project you are assigned, while establishing and refining project specific processes and performance metrics across the assigned projects.
Adhere to vision, direction, and goals for the PMO.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective budgets and timelines, addressing challenges proactively to minimize program impact.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance processes, efficiency, and project effectiveness.
Stay abreast of project management best practices, methodologies, and technologies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies, maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.
Provide leadership to assigned teams, setting clear goals and providing constructive feedback to drive positive outcomes and improve results.
Build strong relationships across the organization, leveraging diverse perspectives to enhance program execution and product development.
Communicate effectively, including the presentation of project status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders.
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, ensuring programs are delivered on time and within budget.
About you Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
3+ years’ experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects in a regulated industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, delivering high-quality, timely results.
Experience in managing development of external and/or implantable active medical devices is highly desirable.
Knowledge of well-established industry standards is a plus (ISO 14708, IEC 60601, IEC 62304, FDA Guidance on Cybersecurity...)
In-depth technical knowledge applicable to product development and project execution.
Strong understanding of and respect for regulations and procedures within regulated environments (ISO 13485 and/or US 21 CFR 820).
Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving, and geographically dispersed environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Results-driven and innovative, with a commitment to achieving excellence and inspiring others to do the same.
Ethical, adaptable, and eager to continuously learn and grow.
Supervision Individual contributor leading project and cross-functional teams.
